Growing up I always loved medieval adventure movies and sports movies, Robin Hood and Rocky, Conan and Karate Kid, Sword and the Sorcerer and Slap Shot. When I found the Society for Creative Anachronism, I spent the next couple of decades competing in armored swordfighting. But then through a series of events, relationships, and business ventures too complex to go into now, I found myself in the submission grappling scene.

Now I am living, competing, and making movies and working on TV shows about both of my childhood dreams.
