High achievement
Posted On 07/12/2008 07:18:10

High achievement always takes place
in the framework of high expectation.
You'll always hit what you aim for in the long run.
So why not aim high?

Have the courage to follow your dreams.
It's the first step towards attaining your destiny.

If you can dream it, you can do it.
If you don't have a dream,
how are you going to make it come true?

The empire of your future resides in your mid.
Big thinking precedes big achievement.

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU BELIEVE

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU BELIEVE

 Don't be afraid of living.

Your belief that life is worth living

will help you create the fact around you.

There are no real barriers to your success.

You must overcome any doubts you have about your ability.

Your self image prescribes the limits for your accomplishments.

It prescribes the area of what is possible for you.

If you see yourself as prosperous, you will be.

If you see yourself as continually hard up,

that's precisely what you will be.

 You
can never succeed until you believe you can succeed.

Failed in business at age 21.
Was defeated in a legislative race at age 22.
Failed again in business at age 24.
Overcame the death of his sweetheart at age 26.
Had a nervous breakdown at age 27.
Lost a congressional race at age 34.
Lost a congressional race at age 36.
Lost a senatorial race at age 45.
Failed in an effort to become vice-president at age 47.
Lost a senatorial race at age 49.
Was elected president of the United States at age 52.

The man’s name was Abraham Lincoln.  Could he have become president if he had seen these events of his life as failures?  It’s not likely.  There’s a famous story about Thomas Edison.  After he’d tried 9,999 times to perfect the light bulb and hadn’t succeeded, someone asked him, “Are you going to have ten thousand failures?”  He answered, “I didn’t fail.  I just discovered another way not to invent the electric light bulb.”  He had discovered how another set of actions had produced a different result.

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the United States.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.
You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

To laugh often and much
To win the respect of intelligent people, and the affection of children.
To earn the appreciation of honest critics, and endure the betrayal of false friend.
To appreciate beauty.
To find the best in others.
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition.
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have live.
This is to have succeeded

There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days, which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of these days is YESTERDAY with its mistakes and cares, its, faults and blunders, its aches and pains. YESTERDAY has passed forever beyond our control, all the money in the world cannot bring back YESTERDAY. We cannot undo a single act we performed. We cannot erase a single word we said.
YESTERDAY is gone.
The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW. With its possible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and poor performance. TOMORROW is also beyond our control. TOMORROW'S sun will rise either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in.
TOMORROW, for it is as yet unborn.
This leaves only one day.... TODAY. Any man can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities. YESTERDAY and TOMORROW that we break down.
it is not the experience of TODAY that drives men mad. It is remorse or bitterness for something  which happened YESTERDAY and the dread of what TOMORROW may bring.
LET US, THEREFORE,
LIVE BUT ONE DAY AT A TIME.
