 By pairing with one of the nation's largest charitable organization, MMA's struggle for mainstream acceptance takes another step forward tomorrow night in Santa Monica, Calif.
The Shriners of North America is hosting the first-ever "Fighting 4 Kidz" charity MMA event at the Civic Auditorium. It features notables such as Gabe Ruediger, Mike Kyle, Jeremiah Metcalf and the MMA debut of Andre Galvao. The WEC has also loaned the event two of its fighters.
Shriners National Athletic Committee member Jason Weiner discussed how the event was created while a recent guest of TAGG Radio, the official radio partner of MMAjunkie.com.<
