Recent ShoXC headliner Malaipet Team Diamond (3-2) and fellow striker David Douglas (3-1) have agreed to meet at the Sept. 26 ShoXC event at the Chumash Hotel & Casino in Santa Ynez, Calif.

Malaipet, formerly a stand-out Muay Thai fighter, will return for the first time since a disqualification loss to Thomas Denny at a March 21 ShoXC event. In the night's main event, Malaipet was disqualified for illegal elbow strikes to the back of Denny's
