 For the past two years, the UFC has had its sights set on expanding internationally.
Australia, Sweden, Italy and Japan are on the roadmap for expansion in 2009. So too is the Philippines, and earlier this year, the UFC sent one of its PR staffers and Brandon Vera on a goodwill tour of the country.
MMAjunkie.com's Steve Sievert recently spoke to Vera about the trip, the 4,000 spectators who came to watch his workout session, and what it would mean for the fan favorite to fight in his family's home
