EliteXC heavyweight champion Antonio Silva's manager, Alex Davis, denies that the fighter used anabolic steroids leading up to last month's success victory over Justin Eilers.

As MMAjunkie.com reported on Thursday, the California State Athletic Commission has suspended Silva one year and fined him $2,500 for a failed drug test due to Boldenone, an anabolic steroid designed for veterinary use, at the July 26 event.

Silva, who won EliteXC's heavyweight at the show, won't be stripped of the title -- not until "all the facts are known," anyway -- according to EliteXC Head of Fight Operations Jeremy La
