 Nick Diaz isn't the division's top contender, and that's why EliteXC lightweight champion KJ Noons has no interest in giving him a rematch at EliteXC's upcoming CBS-televised event in October.
That's the word from Noons' manager, Mark Dion. In an exclusive interview with MMAjunkie.com, Dion scoffed at today's 5 p.m. deadline that EliteXC Vice President Jared Shaw has implemented for Noons to accept the fight.
"Forget 5 o'clock," Dion said. "I ain't waiting until 5 o'clock. If [EliteXC officials] are holding their breath, then someone's going to pass out."
