The Man, The Myth, The Legend, The Franchise, The Monopoly, That Is...Micky Byggs (Born July 17, 1974 In Putnam, Ct), now Resides in Brooklyn, NY is an American Pro Wrestler and Mixed Martial Artist turned Columnist, Interviewer, Commentator, Radio Personality, and Producer. Micky writes about, interviews, and talks with some of the biggest names in Pro Wrestling, MMA, and Boxing. Micky has interviewed people like Dan "THE BEAST" Severn, Bobby "THE BRAIN" Heenan, Buff "THE STUFF" Bagwell, Kevin Sullivan, and many more.

Micky Byggs has worked in the wrestling business for 16 years, 12 of those years as a Wrestler (Trained by the Legendary Ox Baker) and MMA Fighter under an assumed name for NWA affiliates mostly that of NWA-NE, and MMA organizations, he has firsthand knowledge and experience with the 2 industries. Micky has earned the reputation for bringing the fans the best news, rumors, gossip, and interviews in the industry.

Micky got his start in radio in 2000 when he lived in the Hartford, Ct area and started working at Cameo Broadcasting/Cyberstation USA an internet radio station. While working at Cyberstation USA Micky started doing radio shows that he would produce and send off to affiliate radio station KCLA in California.

Finally after about a year of doing radio on KCLA, Micky started a radio show with Co-Executive producer of Cameo/Cyberstation USA Scott Luzzi, and fellow radio host Jason Medina, and together they formed Beyond the Ring, a Wrestling Radio talk show in which they would talk about all things wrestling with some great interviews.

It was not long before Mr. Luzzi left Beyond the Ring for other obligations, and Micky found out that Beyond the Ring had been in use by another organization and to avoid trademark infringement he and Jason decided to change the name to Cyberwrestling, for about 2 weeks Cyberwrestling with Micky and Jason were on the air. Micky had decided that Cyberwrestling needed to expand and change its time slot, and the name as well Cyberwrestling was just not working.

After a falling out with Jason, the name was changed along with the time the show aired. In 2001 Wrestling Spotlite was officially born and trademarked, and Micky Byggs was solo at the helm. Micky did a great job at 2 hours of the most intense Wrestling Radio Show ever heard, it soon became the number one listened to show at Cyberstation USA with aprox. 4.5 million Listeners worldwide. After a few short months of being solo, Micky brought forth and hired another.

Micky asked another fellow Cyberstation DJ to join the ranks of Wrestling Spotlite, that man was known as The Psycho One, Psycho Mike. Mike brought a new flair to the program, with Mike and Micky together the two were completely unstoppable, together they had the absolute best Wrestling Radio Talk Show ever, guest were quoted as saying, that they had been all over the place, and everyone was talking about Wrestling Spotlite, they had been on, wanted to be on, or were on and wanted to be back on, WS was the greatest force in Pro Wrestling and remained there for a long time. Again, Micky thought it time to expand.

This time while Psycho assisted with the daily operations of WS Micky searched for more, 2002 saw the syndication of WS, now WS also aired over the New Kajun Country, in Hammond, LA very Wednesday for about half an hour along with Morning DJ Chris Sugarlips Powers, and soon after WS found its way to Cable radio stations in Tennesse, and Oklahoma. 2002 also saw the birth of Wrestling Spotlite the Magazine; all though it was short lived it did lend a small helping hand to WS. It was in early 2003 that WS did it's last live Broadcast, and became a Wrestling Column on various Wrestling Websites, Mike and Micky just did not have time to keep up with the daily operations of it any longer.

From 2003-2008 Micky and Wrestling Spotlite started to fade out a little, and one day as Micky was working on The WS Column, he decided to get back involved in radio, some way he would do it. That is when Micky found out about WHAP 1340 AM

WHAP 1340 AM had a wrestling radio talk show running in the Richmond, VA area that was named Wrestling Spotlite. Micky owning the trademark of Wrestling Spotlite, notified Mr. Brent Fleenor of WHAP's WS that he needed to stop immediately. Mr. Fleenor contacted Micky and agreed, it was only 24 hours before Micky contacted Mr. Fleenor and recanted his cease and desist order, and worked out an angle that would be the mother of all angles in wrestling.

Micky and Brent for 2 weeks would fight about the use of the name WS, and on a live edition of WS a wrestling tag team known as Standards and Practices, who work for GXW (Ground Xero Wrestling)was on the program. GXW and WS have a great working relationship; Brent also happens to be the voice of GXW's Inferno the official GXW TV Show. Micky called one last time to talk with Brent about changing the name of his WS and he again refused, that is when Brent found out how powerful Micky was, Standards and Practices stood up, and live on air beat Mr. Fleenor within an inch of his life and issued him several citations for misuse of the WS name.

On 6.18.08 Mr. Fleenor returned to the WHAP studios, he had said that he was going to make an announcement, and that he was going to change the name of WS, and that Micky had one. Micky again showing his power had once again infiltrated the studio, and this time broke into the conversation with Brent and his staff, and made them an offer that they could not refuse. Brent and his staff would remain Wrestling Spotlight, and the only thing that they had to do was agree that they would work together with Micky as one unit, no south, no north, hell no east or west, they as a unit would be WSG, and WRESTLING SPOTLITE GLOBAL was born.

Brent and his staff talked about it briefly amongst themselves on air and agreed, Micky made a promise that he would return to WSG the following Wednesday and to back up all that he had been saying, he would have with him a big guest, a name that wrestling fans across the world would know. On 6.25.08 live from Las Vegas, Micky Called in to the newly born WRESTLING SPOTLITE GLOBAL, with the former WWE Diva, one of the originals, the former manager of Goldust, Marlena/Ms. Terri Runnels, this marked the beginning of WSG and cemented it as being on its way and becoming what WS once was, and will be again........The Greatest Wrestling Radio Talk Show in the WORLD!!!
