Marco A. Sies, Seven-Time World Kickboxing Champion, 7th degree Black Belt, and Master Martial Arts Instructor is a native of Santiago, Chile and undoubtedly the best kickboxing athlete that Chile has ever produced. Having won the Chilean Lightweight National Championship title at age 18, he was youngest kickboxer to ever win the prestigious title. He speaks candidly about his childhood and the hard work, energy and total dedication he has put daily into martial arts for over two decades. From his humble beginnings in Chile, he worked extremely hard to achieve his dream by coming to America to capture the World Championship title.

Recently, Master Sies was inducted into the Martial Arts World Hall of Fame and was honored as a legend in kickboxing. He received this great honor in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania in the presence of many martial artists and many masters and grand masters of great trajectory. Receiving this lifetime achievement after more than 20 years of hard training and sacrifice was a meaningful milestone for this Champion.

On June 4, 2005 Marco “Babyface” Sies fought his retirement fight, “A Night of Champions” at the SportsPlex Arena in Frederick, Maryland. In a spectacular performance for his home state fans, students, friends and family, he was not only able to dominate the fight with a great display of kicking techniques, but he knocked out his opponent George Walker Bustamante in the 4th round with an amazing lightning spinning hook kick that hit the top of Bustamante’s head! His weary opponent had the courage to try and stand up, but was unsuccessful and fell into the ropes. This main event fight awarded Sies a double World Championship Title (USKBA and KICK).

Sies said, "I'm very excited that I had the chance to fight in my hometown in Maryland with my family, friends and my students. It is something that I always wanted to do. This fight was a present for them. It is my way to say ‘thank you' for all the love and support they have given me throughout the years.”

Currently, Master Sies resides and trains in Maryland, and he continues to be a role model and mentor. He makes personal appearances and conducts Success Seminars sharing his unique training system, The Marco Sies Black Belt Learning System.
