Mezger trains students in boxing, kickboxing and the Lion's Den Mixed Martial system at his gym; "Guy Mezger's Combat Sports Club" in Dallas, Texas.
Mezger is a part owner in a TV production company that is making "Reality TV" shows and documentaries.
Mezger has taken a position with Mark Cuban's new HDnet Fights as Commissioner/President. He is responsible for developing new talent and securing promotion partners for HDnet's Friday Night Fights.

Hey..Its GUY, I am an instructor and combat-sport coach at my gym, Lion's Den-Dallas. I was a professional fighter that competed for 17 years in a variety of combat sports such as kickboxing, boxing, full-contact karate, and mixed martial arts (MMA) as well in the amateur sports of wrestling and judo. I am best know as a MMA fighter and I have a MMA record of 51 wins - 12 losses, 3 draws, and 1 no contest [Kicboxing record: 22wins - 3 losses (19 ko's) and a full-contact karate record of 40 wins - 1 loss (40 ko's)]. I have fought in the UFC, PRIDE FC, Pancrase, and many other organizations. I fought for Ken Shamrock's Lion's Den Fight Team and coached many of the Lion's Den fighter. I continue to train combat athletes as well as everyday people ranging from adults to children. My wife and I have 2 great kids both boys (16 years and 18 months; and, yes, we are well aware of the distance between the two. Something happen earlier than they should)and a baby girl due at the end of January '07. Outside of spending time with friends, family and business, we work with many charities (we know how blessed we have been) and are on board of directors of two children's charities: Love for Children (my wife's) and Global Light Foundation (mine). As an athlete I have been extremely lucky to have been able to compete/travel all over the world and many PPV shows. I have been pretty successful as an athlete. Guy has trained with many great martial arts competitors and trainer/instructors; his main trainers have been Vince Tamura (Judo), Willie Thompson (Wrestling), Billy "Jack" Jackson (Kickboxing), and Ken Shamrock (Submission Fighting/Pancrase/Mixed Martial Arts).
Guy has co-written one book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Kickboxing, and had an uncredited speaking role in the first-season episode of Walker, Texas Ranger Night of the Gladiator.
