I consider C.Q.C. or street fighting a martial art! Why? because street fighting is so much different then competition fighting. Making itself its own rare and special breed of martial arts. C.Q.C. is what I strive to perfect in my training, and I have searched far and wide for the best martial arts school that can give it to me. I have done Ju-jitsu, Aikido, Wingchung (under Sifu Dan Inosanto) and currently train in American Jiu-Jitsu under O'sensi Joe Puleio. Since I have been training I have found that American Jiu-Jitsu is the best martial art for simplistic C.Q.C. or Street self-defense. Cause when you really look at it that’s what it all boils down to. Don't take me wrong I am always up for a competition/grappling match ect... But training for competition and training for the real deal are two completely different things. Most fights get close and most fights do go to the ground, so if you want to have the best chance in defending yourself in the real world then you will train in the martial art that teaches you those components of fighting. So far American Jiu-Jitsu has given me just that. Don't get me wrong I am never close minded, and don't think that one way is always the right way, but so far American Jiu-Jistsu has done it all for me, and that’s what I am after, to become the best suited for any combat situation the world might throw at me. Because really any conflict may it be mental or physical is combat, because your fighting for the protection of yourself, a loved one, or something you believe in, and i want to win!!!

The names Danny, aka The Iceman! I am 16 and grew up in South Flatbush Brooklyn N.Y. I have trained in the martial arts since I was four and continue my training to this very second, and plan on training for the rest of my life. If you think thats cool, my sister has been training right alongside me since she was 3!!! My dad also has trained in the martial arts for over 35 years, and in my house its really all about survival!!! I am very disciplined when it comes to eating right, living right, and working out. I try to live each day to its fullest because tomorrow may never come! Since I was born I new I always wanted to be a Navy Seal! And don’t try to talk me out of it because the more I hear it can’t be done the more excited I get! Not only could I swim before I could walk but I have a never quit the fight attitude in everything I do in life. Many don’t understand what those brave men go through to keep you safe and free from harm. Have you ever had to worry if you would wake up in the morning and the front half of your house is missing…no, because these brave men take the fight to the enemy before they can take it to us, and I plan on joining this fine group of men!!!!!! I love cars, and am a proud owner of a 1968 Chevy Camaro. It is a work in progress like many other things in my life because I never accept good enough. I love the ocean, boating, sailing, scuba diveing, motocross, rappeling, longboarding, camping, knives, (would like to try sky diving) and anything else that will give me an adrenalin rush!!

The goal in life is not to arrive at the grave in a perfectly preserved, and undamaged body, but to slide in sideways all broken up shouting dam... what a ride!!!!

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear-not absence of fear.
-Mark Twain(1835-1910)

The best thing to do is the right thing, the 2nd best thing to do is the wrong thing, but the worst thing to do is nothing!!!

The only easy day was yesterday!

Don't knock on death's door, ring the bell and run, he hates that!

If your not living life on the edge, well then your taking up to much room!!!
