Woolum is a first string fighter for the Miami Force Founded by Chuck Norris, World Combat League features competitive combat martial arts fighting, or CMA, at a full-throttle pace. World Combat League offers something different with its fast-paced, stand-up fights.

I take pride in the fact that I am highly spiritual. One of my stronger passions is doing motivational speaking in schools.
It's my goal to become a positive role model for young people. I hope to take the sport of female fighting to the next level, showing the public what it takes to be a champion in this new, challenging arena.
My message is that you can be what ever you want to be in life regardless of gender, all you have to do is believe. For example, you don’t have to be the nurse when you can be the doctor, you don’t have to be the flight attendant when you can be the pilot, and you don’t have to be the cheerleader if you want to be the player. No matter how many times you hear “you can’t,” just believe you can and you will succeed.

As a fighter, Angie Woolum's resume is not bad especially for a former Homecoming Queen. She is a boxing beauty that truly is a prime example of the old saying . . . ”You can’t judge a book by its cover.” At 5'5" and 125 pounds she is deceiving to the eye but to underestimate her could spell trouble. One taste of her crunching left hook or lightening fast right will quickly convince you that you have just bitten off more than you can chew. She is also the first female ISJA Lightweight Full Contact World Champion in Sport Jujitsu.

I have trained with some of the top boxing coaches in the business, like John Johnson who is best known for training Buster Douglas to a victory over Mike Tyson. I have trained in world famous gyms from Columbus, Ohio to Las Vegas, Nevada, diligently honing her skills as a professional fighter along side boxing greats like Oscar Delahoya. However, her journey as a female in a male dominated sport has not been an easy one, especially here in West Virginia.
